During devotion this morning, I was reflecting on the past year as we enter into the new year tomorrow. God has been so great and wonderful. Despite all of my hurdles that I have gone through, he stood right beside me. The days when I thought I was alone and no one cared, he became closer than normal. This reminds me that God says he will never leave us nor forsake us.
I am so happy that God attributes are like no one else in this word. When we read Psalm 111 it outlines a few of his attributes. The only that sticks out the most is “He made his agreement everlasting”. Whatever came out of Gods mouth is law and his word cannot go back void. God does great things; What he does is glorious and splendid; His goodness continues forever; His miracles are unforgettable; He is kind and merciful; everything he does is good and fair; all his orders can be trusted.
Days when I feel down , I just declare what is word says, I am made in his image, he has given me dominion over all the earth, I have the keys to the kingdom of Heaven; I have favor, I have peace and My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches and glory through Christ Jesus. His word never fails. Because I know his word can never fail and his agreement is everlasting, I am uplifted and able to rise up and continue moving forward in the path God has ordained for me life. As a child of God my purpose is to reach out and spread the word of the Kingdom by using my gifts and talents.
I declare on December 31st, 2010, I am blessed to be a blessing and I will walk in the path that my father has called me to walk. Reach out to the children, connect people, build bridges and most importantly show love to all.
